Before running any cheats product, you need to fully disable Windows Defender and its associated protections. Partial disabling isn’t enough — background services and behavioral monitors must all be off. This guide walks you through every required step.

Anti-Virus Setup

Disable Virus & Threat Protection

Open Windows Security and turn off all Virus & Threat Protection settings.
Windows Defender’s real-time protection will re-enable itself after every system restart unless you use Defender Control. Do not skip the next step.

Download and run Sordum Defender Control

  1. Download Sordum Defender Control
  2. Download WinRAR if you don’t already have it
  3. Open the Defender Control archive using WinRAR
  4. Use the password sordum to extract
  5. Run the program and click Disable Antivirus

Turn off all Firewall options

In Windows Security, go to Firewall & Network Protection and turn off all 3 network profile options (Domain, Private, Public).

Disable Exploit Protection settings

  1. In Windows Security, go to App & Browser Control
  2. Scroll down to Exploit Protection and click Exploit Protection Settings
  3. Turn off each setting one by one

Disable Core Isolation

In Windows Security, go to Device Security and make sure Core Isolation (Memory Integrity) is fully off.

Secure Boot Setup

Only follow this section if your specific cheat requires Secure Boot to be disabled. Check the individual game guide for your cheat to confirm whether this step is needed.

Check your current Secure Boot state

  1. Press Windows Key + R to open Windows Run
  2. Type msinfo32 and press Enter
  3. Look for Secure Boot State — if it says Off, you’re done

Disable Secure Boot in BIOS (if needed)

If Secure Boot is currently On, you need to enter your BIOS/UEFI and disable it. The exact location varies depending on your motherboard manufacturer. Search for a YouTube tutorial specific to your motherboard if you’re unsure.

Remove Faceit and Riot Clients

If you have Faceit or Riot clients installed, they must be uninstalled before running any cheat.

Open Add or Remove Programs

Search Add or Remove Programs in Windows search and open it.

Uninstall the following if present

Search for and uninstall each of the following:
  • RIOT CLIENT
  • VANGUARD
  • FACEIT
  • Any other third-party anti-virus or anti-cheat software
Leaving any of these clients installed — even if not actively running — can cause cheat injection to fail or result in detection.
